About the role
We are seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated Field Sales & Marketing Executive to generate leads, build strong customer relationships, and drive sales growth across assigned territories in Uganda. The role involves regular field visits to industries, farmers, dealers, and institutional customers.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to generate leads and close sales.
- Educate customers on features, benefits, and applications of agricultural equipment, machinery, and generators.
- Demonstrate products in the field and advise on best operational practices.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Update daily sales activities, customer visits, and lead details in the Odoo CRM system.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to regional business growth.
- Participate in exhibitions, fairs, and local promotional activities as required.
- Coordinate with logistics, service, and internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in agriculture, equipment, machinery, or generator industries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across rural, semi‑urban, and urban areas.
- Self‑driven, target‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
Required skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably Odoo CRM.
