About the role
The Davis Connect K-6 Online School is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The position focuses on delivering instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities in a virtual K‑6 environment. The role is offered as an internship/volunteer opportunity, requiring a full‑time commitment of eight hours per day.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver online lessons tailored to mild and moderate disabilities.
- Assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the school’s support team to ensure compliance with special‑education regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and individualized education plans.
Required profile
- Valid teaching license.
- Special Education endorsement (K‑12+).
- Willingness to work eight hours per day in a remote setting.
- Interest in supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities.
