Accountant (Full Cycle) - Manufacturing Sector

About the Role

Ashley Kate HR & Finance is recruiting a rigorous and autonomous Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. Working closely with the Finance Director and Finance Manager, you will operate within a production environment, providing you with full visibility into the company's core operations.

Main Missions

• Manage the Accounts Receivable ledger, including processing retail customer inquiries.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable ledger and execute weekly payment runs.
• Perform essential reconciliations: VAT, Profit & Loss, and Sales.
• Support quarterly reporting processes, including payroll, pensions, and reconciliations.
• Contribute to payment practice reporting and annual gender pay gap analysis.
• Conduct physical stock evaluations and on-site counts.
• Prepare and post accurate journal entries to the general ledger.

Candidate Profile

• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical mindset to support financial reporting and audits.
• Experience in payroll is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
• Open to qualified, partially qualified, or candidates currently pursuing professional qualifications.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Sage 200 (highly desirable).
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, complex formulas, and charting).
• Strong understanding of general ledger management and reconciliations.
• Ability to handle high-volume data entry and financial analysis.
