Bancassurance Support Officer

About the role

The Bancassurance Support Officer provides accurate administrative assistance for all Bancassurance products, ensuring smooth operations and high‑quality service for both internal and external customers. You will work closely with sales consultants, underwriters, and branch networks to deliver timely claim assessments and policy updates.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Bancassurance products and resolve operational issues.
• Support pre‑ and post‑sales services for internal and external customers.
• Assess claims and meet prescribed turnaround‑time targets.
• Interpret policy wordings and communicate terms to customers.
• Advise customers on required claim documentation at notification.
• Handle correspondence, phone calls, and queries from customers and insurance companies.
• Assist sales consultants in achieving sales targets.
• Participate in branch, segment, or channel visits (virtual or physical).
• Provide proactive feedback on query resolution status.
• Maintain relationships with underwriters, branch networks, and the Bancassurance team.
• Process policy amendment requests promptly.

Required profile

• First degree in Business, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as a branch consultant or in operations.
• Knowledge of at least three insurance products.
