Claims Manager – OMLAU

About the role

The Claims Manager will lead the OMLAU claims division, ensuring that all claims are processed promptly, accurately and in line with company policies and regulatory standards. This senior‑level role combines operational oversight, customer service excellence and compliance with anti‑money‑laundering requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Claims Department to achieve timely, accurate and professional claims processing.
• Drive customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, cost control and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure claims are settled within agreed service standards and enforce policies, procedures and controls.
• Liaise with branches, customers, intermediaries and service providers on claims matters.
• Handle complaints and escalations, monitor fraud risks and loss‑control opportunities.
• Review and manage claims reserves, budgets and operating costs.
• Manage relationships with assessors, investigators and other service providers, monitoring performance.
• Coach, develop and evaluate claims staff, setting performance targets and identifying training needs.
• Prepare management reports on claims performance, costs and trends for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 84 months (7 years) of experience in claims management.
• Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes, AML/KYC compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets and drive operational improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with branches, customers and regulators.
