Credit Controller – Trainee

About the role

This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates who want to start a career in finance. As a Credit Controller Trainee you will support the Accounts and Finance team, focusing on revenue collection and credit management while liaising directly with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Accounts department in revenue collection and ensure timely issuance of invoices, receipts, notices and statements.
• Communicate with credit clients, issue reminder notices and monitor debt collection.
• Work with the Financial Controller to meet collection forecast targets and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain client documentation for all credit customers.
• Prepare prompt reports, investigate overdue debts and reconcile direct invoices and collections.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and the Accounts department to resolve credit‑related issues.
• Provide high‑quality service to credit customers and perform any other duties assigned by the Financial Controller.
