Digital and Content Marketing Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Digital and Content Marketing Trainee to join TechBuzz Hub in Kampala. The trainee will support our marketing team in creating and executing social media and digital campaigns while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing startup ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and schedule content across company social media channels.
• Assist in planning and launching digital marketing campaigns.
• Monitor web traffic and generate basic analytics reports.
• Create marketing copy for blog posts, articles, and social posts.
• Conduct research, edit and proofread content, and support content strategy development.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or career changer with a background in marketing, communications, journalism, IT or related fields.
• Strong interest in social media and digital marketing trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a startup environment.
