Digital & Content Marketing Trainee

About the role

Techbuzz Hub is looking for a full‑time Digital & Content Marketing Trainee to join its on‑site team in Kampala. You will support the creation and execution of social media, digital marketing strategies, web analytics and online campaigns while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow social media accounts across platforms.
• Analyze web traffic and performance metrics using analytics tools.
• Create marketing content such as articles, blog posts, and social media copy.
• Conduct research, edit and proofread content, and develop content strategies.
• Coordinate online marketing efforts and collaborate with team members on projects.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients.

Required profile

• Background or strong interest in social media and digital marketing.
• Relevant degree in IT, communications, content creation, marketing, journalism or a related field.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn emerging digital trends.
• Excellent written communication and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
