Digital Impact Manager (P-4, Fixed-Term)

About the role

The Digital Impact Manager will lead UNICEF Uganda’s enterprise‑wide digital impact agenda, shaping strategy, governance and investment across programmes and operations. Working with senior leadership, government, development partners and the private sector, the role will build strategic alliances and drive scalable, responsible digital solutions that strengthen national systems and improve outcomes for children and young people.

Key responsibilities

• Foster innovation and digital transformation, overseeing piloting, evidence generation and scaling of priority digital initiatives.
• Enhance ICT, digital impact and innovation governance, building internal and external partnerships and capacity.
• Ensure excellence in ICT services and systems to create an enabling environment for staff.
• Improve delivery results and organizational performance through data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Software Engineering, IT Management or related field.
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience in ICT, digital impact project management, business operations, networks or information security, preferably in large international or humanitarian settings.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, project management, business analytics, partnerships, information security, audit and risk management.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
