Electrical Artisan

About the role

The Electrical Artisan will join the Packaging team at the Rwenzori Plant, ensuring that all electrical systems and equipment operate reliably and efficiently. Reporting directly to the Team Leader, Packaging, you will play a key part in maintaining production continuity and up‑holding safety and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on plant electrical installations and machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Maintain and update asset registers and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and food‑safety regulations during all activities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant electrical maintenance qualification or apprenticeship.
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality standards in a food‑production setting.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed work instructions.
