Event Sales Executive

About the role

The Event Sales Executive is responsible for generating, developing and converting event business for the hotel while ensuring a seamless journey from initial enquiry through to event execution and post‑event follow‑up. The role focuses on identifying and securing conferences, meetings, weddings, social functions, corporate and diplomatic events, exhibitions, private celebrations and other MICE opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Generate, develop and convert event business for the hotel, managing the process from enquiry to post‑event follow‑up.
• Identify and secure conferences, meetings, weddings, social functions, corporate and diplomatic events, exhibitions and other MICE opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in events or banqueting sales within a reputable hotel or events company, with a proven track record in selling meetings, conferences and social events.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• High level of organization, attention to detail and commercial awareness, with a professional appearance aligned with 5‑star standards.
