Expert Detailing Representative (Kampala)

About the role

We are looking for an Expert Detailing Representative to drive awareness and advocacy for key consumer healthcare brands among healthcare professionals (HCPs) in Kampala. The role combines face‑to‑face and digital engagements to support product adoption and deliver measurable sales results.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct expert detailing sessions with HCPs, presenting clinical data and therapeutic benefits.
• Recruit HCPs to digital platforms and support remote engagement initiatives such as webinars and email campaigns.
• Guide HCPs in using patient communication tools and digital resources, and encourage participation in Continuous Medical Education (CME) modules.
• Maintain in‑call quality, monitor performance metrics and achieve KPIs including AWR, BRMO and SoR.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with HCPs, distribute medical samples, and track territory sales targets.
• Provide market insights and competitor intelligence to internal teams and organize educational events.
• Uphold compliance standards and represent the field team professionally.

Required profile

• BSc or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related healthcare role.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Veeva.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and KPIs.
