Facility Digitization Coordinator – DART

About the role

The Facility Digitization Coordinator will lead the implementation of the Data‑Activated Architecture for Resilient Transition (DART) at the facility level in Uganda. Reporting to the DART project team, you will ensure that health facilities are ready for digital transformation, from infrastructure deployment to EMR rollout.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and prepare health facilities for ICT infrastructure installation.
• Oversee deployment of networking, hardware, and data‑center components.
• Coordinate implementation of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems across sites.
• Ensure alignment with Ministry of Health standards, data‑warehouse stabilization, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Support Health Information Exchange (HIE) operations and priority system integrations.
• Facilitate workforce certification, survey modernization, and responsible AI adoption.
• Monitor and report on service‑delivery data performance.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 5 years (60 months) of relevant experience.
• Background in health informatics, ICT infrastructure, or digital health project management.
• Proven experience working with government health ministries or large‑scale public‑sector projects.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills, with ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously.
