Field Collections Officer

About the role

The Field Collections Officer will work directly in markets, trading centres, boda‑boda stages and community hubs to attract new customers and open accounts for Uwezo Microfinance. You will play a key part in expanding the institution’s reach, mobilising savings and promoting a range of financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and sign up new customers in markets, trading centres, boda stages and communities.
• Open new accounts daily and grow the base of active customers.
• Mobilise savings and investments and promote Uwezo products such as Savings, Loans, Money Transfer and Insurance.
• Educate customers on financial discipline and wealth creation.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues quickly.
• Build strong relationships to improve customer retention and loyalty.
• Participate in field campaigns and community activations.
• Submit daily activity and performance reports.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with at least 12 months of experience in field sales, collections or a related customer‑facing role.
• Basic educational background.
