Field Team Leader – Kampala

About the role

Zenka Finance is seeking a proactive Field Team Leader to oversee its field sales agents across Kampala. Reporting to the Chief Marketing & Sales Officer, you will ensure the team meets its targets while maintaining high service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily schedules and allocate locations for all field agents.
• Monitor attendance, activities, and KPI performance of agents.
• Conduct regular field visits to coach, assess quality, and resolve issues.
• Identify under‑performing agents early and implement coaching, retraining or replacement.
• Motivate the team to sustain morale, productivity and retention.
• Prepare daily and weekly performance reports for senior management.
• Suggest improvements to locations, sales approaches, incentives, scheduling and messaging.
• Handle field‑level challenges such as conflicts, safety concerns, logistics and escalations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new agents in partnership with HR and Marketing.

Required profile

• Confident and comfortable speaking to strangers.
• Energetic, outgoing and target‑driven.
• Willing to work outdoors and walk most of the day.
• Fluent in English and Luganda.
• Reliable, punctual and resilient.
• Resident in or around Kampala.

Required skills

• Proficient use of an Android smartphone.
