General Operations Manager

About the role

The General Operations Manager links strategic decisions with day‑to‑day execution at our hotel resort. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will ensure operational excellence, guest satisfaction, safety, and profitability across all service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the resort and coordinate all departments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, and facilities.
• Manage staffing levels for peak and low seasons and ensure operational readiness.
• Monitor guest feedback, handle escalated complaints, and drive improvement initiatives.
• Lead, motivate, and develop departmental managers and operational teams.
• Collaborate with department leads to align projects, quality implementation, and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of senior‑level experience in hotel or resort operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple operational functions simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Willingness to relocate to Kalangala.
