Graphics Designer – Creative Design Role

About the role

We are looking for a creative Graphics Designer to join our team in Kampala. The role involves turning client ideas into compelling visual solutions across print and digital media.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to understand requirements, timelines and budgets.
• Manage client proposals from typesetting through graphic design, print and production.
• Develop concepts, graphics and layouts, making decisions on fonts, images and readability.
• Determine size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, including font style and size.
• Prepare rough drafts based on agreed briefs and incorporate feedback.
• Review final layouts, suggest improvements and ensure quality standards.
• Stay up‑to‑date with design and software trends.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with up to 12 months of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills to manage client expectations.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Graphic design principles and layout composition.
• Understanding of typography, colour theory and visual hierarchy.
