Income Night Auditor

About the role

The Income Night Auditor joins Marriott International’s front‑desk team in Kampala to ensure accurate end‑of‑day financial processing and guest service continuity during night hours.

Key responsibilities

• Post charges to guest accounts, run night‑audit backups and roll the system date.
• Process all payment types – cash, checks, debit, credit and room charges.
• Handle adjustment vouchers, paid‑outs, correction vouchers and miscellaneous charges.
• Print contingency lists for emergency guest records.
• Sell rooms without prior reservations based on availability.
• Operate the telephone switchboard, manage wake‑up calls and relay messages.
• Complete the Room Rate Variance Report.
• Check‑in guests, assign rooms and issue electronic key cards.
• Count, balance and secure the cash drawer at shift end, following accounting procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions to management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related hospitality or accounting experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required skills

• Cash handling and payment processing.
• Operation of electronic key‑card machines.
• Use of night‑audit and backup software.
• Telephone switchboard operation.
