About the role
The Lead Interventionist serves as the primary on‑site resource for SIPPS and Sound Partners literacy interventions at Heritage Elementary. Working under the Principal’s supervision, this role bridges district‑level coaching and classroom implementation to ensure high‑quality, structured literacy support.
Key responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for tutors and teachers with instructional or logistical questions.
- Teach, observe, and monitor SIPPS and Sound Partners lessons to ensure fidelity.
- Provide coaching, encouragement, and corrective feedback under guidance of Certified SIPPS Coaches.
- Assist in creating and updating intervention schedules and student groupings based on assessment data.
- Manage, track, and replenish SIPPS and Sound Partners materials.
- Model lesson delivery and facilitate brief, school‑based professional‑development sessions.
- Identify implementation issues, develop solutions, and escalate complex concerns to district coaches.
- Participate in district PLCs, share school‑level data, and implement district‑provided strategies.
- Maintain intervention data trackers, analyze trends, and support data‑driven instructional decisions.
Required profile
- Experience working with school‑based literacy intervention programs.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, tutors, and district coaches.
- Strong organizational skills for scheduling, material management, and data tracking.
- Comfort with using digital platforms such as Canvas for training modules.

What we offer
- Part‑time schedule: 5.9 hours per day, 174 days per year
- Hourly rate of $19.02 (Pay Grade 5, 2026‑27 Support Salary Table)
