Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead and optimise our coffee‑processing and value‑addition activities in Kampala. You will work closely with sourcing, finance, quality and logistics teams to ensure seamless end‑to‑end operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve operational processes across sourcing, trade, finance coordination and production.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, buyers, warehouses, financial institutions and service providers.
• Oversee quality control, inventory management and logistics to meet production targets.
• Monitor financial performance of coffee transactions and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Lead a small team, fostering a culture of discipline, accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, preferably within coffee, agriculture or manufacturing environments.
• Commercially aware, detail‑oriented and ethical with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑growing, early‑stage company and build systems from the ground up.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
