Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Reporting to the School Director, you will lead a classroom, implement the Cadence Education curriculum, and support each child’s physical, social, and emotional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels respected.
• Build daily positive relationships with children and families through greetings and ongoing communication.
• Plan, implement, and document curriculum aligned with Cadence’s educational philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Follow Cadence‑required systems and communication tools for professional interaction with families and staff.
• Maintain a safe, well‑supervised classroom in accordance with the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual.
• Accurately record accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per company policy and licensing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety standards, and all Cadence Education policies.
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional development, occasionally outside regular hours.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to support children with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and licensing compliance.
• Strong communication skills for partnering with families and team members.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Cadence Education curriculum and related systems.
