Product Manager - Security (Cloud)

About the role

Canonical is looking for a Product Manager to lead the security portfolio for its cloud offerings. The role will drive the product lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with market needs and company strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product development lifecycle, set priorities and define goals for the security product line.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales and support to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Conduct market research, analyse industry trends and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities.
• Communicate product vision, status updates and key decisions to stakeholders.
• Oversee usability testing, analyse user feedback and iterate to improve the user experience.
• Develop go‑to‑market strategies, create product documentation and provide training for sales and support teams.
• Facilitate collaboration across teams, resolve conflicts and ensure consistent execution across product lines.

Required profile

• Exceptional academic results at high school and university.
• Understanding of Linux, open‑source software, computer architecture, application development, datacenters, cloud or devices.
• Strong work ethic, curiosity, continuous learning habit and alignment with the open‑source movement.
• Outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to four times a year.
