Regional Implementation Officer, DART

About the role

The Regional Implementation Officer will support the delivery of facility digitization and data‑system implementation activities for the Data‑Activated Architecture for Resilient Transition (DART) project in Uganda. Working closely with the Ministry of Health and local health facilities, the officer will help scale interoperable digital health solutions across the assigned region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with facility digitization and electronic medical record (EMR) readiness.
• Support stabilization of the National Data Warehouse and related data‑management processes.
• Contribute to data‑center design, cybersecurity measures, and Health Information Exchange (HIE) operations.
• Coordinate priority integrations, workforce certification, and survey modernization initiatives.
• Promote responsible AI adoption and ensure accurate service‑delivery data reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in digital health implementation or related fields.
• Experience collaborating with government health agencies or ministries.
• Ability to manage multiple field sites and travel within the region.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in English.
