Sales Agent – Insurance (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Agent will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, presenting insurance products to clients, and managing the sales cycle from initial contact to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and present insurance packages to potential and existing clients.
• Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, and client interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate marketing campaigns and attend product training sessions.
• Meet sales targets while upholding professional standards and representing the agency positively.

Required profile

• Strong communication, customer service, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Solid sales experience with basic knowledge of insurance products, especially advertising‑related packages.
• Ability to learn new services, guide clients through options, and deliver training.
• Proven track record of meeting targets in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment; diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
