Sales Agent

About the role

ICEA LION Assurance is looking for motivated Sales Agents to join its growing team in Kampala. You will promote a range of insurance products, match solutions to client needs, and help expand the company’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients through networking, referrals and cold calling.
• Present insurance solutions tailored to customers’ financial goals.
• Secure activations and organize product camps within organisations.
• Maintain strong client relationships to encourage trust and repeat business.
• Assist clients with application paperwork and policy documentation.
• Follow up on renewals and handle service inquiries.
• Achieve or exceed individual sales targets set by management.
• Stay informed on industry trends, product updates and market conditions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Insurance or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• At least 12 months of experience in sales, insurance or customer‑service roles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and capable of working independently.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle client objections.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM tools.
