Sales and Marketing Representative

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Representative will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships and supporting the execution of marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business leads and convert them into clients.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare proposals and follow up on leads.
• Present agency services and product information to prospective and existing customers.
• Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns and coordinate with internal teams.
• Gather market feedback and contribute to sales and marketing reports.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and track performance against sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience in sales, marketing or advertising environments is advantageous.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage multiple priorities and meet sales targets.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for preparing proposals and presentations.
