Sales Executive

About the role

Platinum Credit Limited is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to join its Kampala team. You will be the front‑line representative of the company, promoting a range of micro‑finance loan products to individuals and businesses. The role combines field sales, client onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and engage prospective clients across assigned territories.
• Explain loan products, collect required documentation and guide customers through the application process.
• Generate leads, conduct field visits, follow up on inquiries and achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare regular sales reports and provide market feedback.
• Support credit assessment teams by verifying customer information.
• Participate in promotional activities, market activations and community outreach.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or customer relationship management, preferably in financial services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of micro‑finance or consumer lending.
• Organised, able to manage multiple leads and documentation accurately.
• High integrity, accountability and a customer‑centred mindset.
• Willingness to travel within Kampala and surrounding areas.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office productivity tools and mobile applications for reporting and customer tracking.
