Sales Representative – Business Services

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Kampala. You will promote BUSINESS SKILLS UGANDA’s services in business planning, advertising, and business development, helping clients grow their ventures.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business leads through research and outreach.
• Present service offerings, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and keep accurate records of client interactions.
• Conduct regular client meetings, follow‑ups, and nurture relationships for repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with service solutions and provide feedback for product and marketing improvements.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience with lead generation, prospecting, pitching, negotiation and closing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust with diverse clients.
• Basic understanding of business planning, advertising and business development concepts.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work both independently and within a team.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Basic CRM usage.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel).
• Proficiency with presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint).
