Senior Project Manager

About the role

Rockside Consults is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead technology‑driven initiatives across its portfolio. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery aligns with business objectives in fast‑moving, regulated sectors such as banking, fintech, telecommunications, or software development.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of assigned projects from initiation through closure.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams of developers, analysts and business stakeholders, establishing clear accountability.
• Apply PMP or PRINCE2 frameworks to manage scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues before they affect delivery.
• Provide regular, concise reporting on project health to executive leadership and client stakeholders.
• Ensure project outputs remain aligned with broader organisational goals.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management or Software Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on project management experience in software development, banking, fintech or telecommunications.
• At least 5 continuous years of a valid PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
