Social Media Manager

About the role

Xentaa is building an all‑in‑one business management platform for African companies and needs a Social Media Manager to own its voice, grow its audience, and turn the company story into engaging content. You will work on multiple channels to create, publish, and optimise content that resonates with both local and global audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube.
• Shoot and edit short‑form videos and reels, design branded graphics, and write scripts and captions.
• Manage the content calendar, grow reach and engagement, and respond to community members.
• Track performance metrics, stay current with platform trends and algorithm updates.

Required profile

• Tech‑savvy with strong familiarity with major social platforms and their algorithms.
• Proficient in using AI tools for content ideation, research and copywriting.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality graphics (Canva) and video edits (portfolio required).
• Experience creating and managing a content calendar and community engagement.
• Strong copywriting, scriptwriting and trend awareness, especially within Ugandan culture.
