Strategic Alliances Specialist II

About the role

The Strategic Alliances Specialist II supports Compassion’s mission by developing and managing partnerships that create mutual value for both the organization and its partners. Working independently on moderately complex projects, the specialist drives initiatives ranging from programmatic interventions to joint thought‑leadership efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and cultivate strategic alliances aligned with Compassion’s objectives.
• Conduct environmental scans and positioning analyses to inform partnership strategy.
• Track performance against strategic metrics and report on partnership outcomes.
• Map partner capabilities to ministry needs and design mutually beneficial collaborations.
• Maintain documentation and disseminate key partnership information internally.
• Advocate for child protection, adhering to Compassion’s Code of Conduct and reporting any concerns.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to Compassion’s Christian values and child protection standards.
• Ability to work independently and coach junior specialists.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with a focus on long‑term partnership sustainability.
