Supply Chain Specialist – Kampala

About the role

Kafkas Limited, the official dealer of Beko and Dr. Mattress, is seeking a detail‑oriented Supply Chain Specialist to manage end‑to‑end supply chain and purchasing operations in Kampala. The role involves coordinating product orders, overseeing inbound logistics, handling customs clearance, and ensuring product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage product orders with suppliers and follow the full order cycle.
• Coordinate inbound logistics from supplier to warehouse.
• Prepare and control shipping, import, and customs clearance documents.
• Monitor stock levels, support stock counts, and ensure accurate system entries.
• Handle local purchasing activities based on company requirements.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, warehouse, and internal teams.
• Manage damaged goods handling and reverse logistics when required.
• Prepare regular supply chain, stock, and purchasing reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing or import operations.
• Proven ability to follow and control orders with high accuracy.
• Strong problem‑solving, coordination and follow‑up skills.
• Good command of English and high sense of responsibility.
