Teller – Cash Management

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Teller to manage daily cash transactions for our clients. The role supports our mission of helping vulnerable children by ensuring that funds are handled securely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and disburse funds from and to clients.
• Manage and safeguard funds allocated to clients.
• Prepare daily reports on fund availability.
• Store cash securely in the safe.
• Investigate any discrepancies, missing or surplus cash.
• Record all deposit and withdrawal transactions in the computer system.
• Balance deposit and withdrawal transactions at the end of each day.

Required profile

• Graduate in economics or finance with good knowledge of micro‑finance.
• At least one year of experience as a cashier or in customer‑service banking.
• Strong knowledge of handling withdrawals and payments.
• Fluent in French and Lingala; additional local languages are a plus.
• Committed Christian, honest, courteous and disciplined.
