About the role

Amentum is seeking a professional Waiter/Waitress to join a full‑service restaurant supporting a US Navy program. The role involves delivering high‑quality service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Take customer orders and deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Answer menu questions, provide recommendations, and anticipate guest needs.
• Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and diplomacy.
• Maintain clean, organized tables and dining areas, setting linens, silverware, and glassware as required.
• Complete required training and certifications for safety and compliance.
• Assist with end‑of‑shift duties such as cleaning, organizing, and restocking supplies.
• Collaborate with wait staff, kitchen personnel, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of satisfactory experience as a server in a full‑service restaurant or club.
• Professional interaction with a diverse customer base.
• Strong verbal communication skills for engaging guests and relaying orders.
• Fluent reading, speaking, and comprehension of English.
