About the role
Busitema University, a public multi‑campus university in Eastern Uganda, is recruiting qualified academic staff for its Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Faculty of Science and Education.
Required profile
- PhD in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) or related field for the Associate Professor position.
- MSc and BSc in Electrical Engineering from recognized institutions.
- Minimum six years of university teaching or relevant industry experience.
- At least ten recognized publications, with four as first/corresponding/senior author.
- Supervision of three graduate students (Masters or PhD).
- Age not exceeding 65 years at the application deadline.
- PhD or full registration for a PhD in Mining Engineering, with a MSc and a First/Second Class Upper Division BSc in Mining Engineering.
- PhD or full registration for a PhD in Physics, with a MSc and a First/Second Class Upper Division BSc in Physics.
