AI Associate Consultant

About the role

Vision Africa AI is looking for an AI Associate Consultant to help public and private organisations across Uganda and the broader African region adopt artificial intelligence solutions. The role blends advisory services, training delivery, and hands‑on implementation to drive digital transformation and create measurable social and economic impact.

Key responsibilities

• Provide AI consulting and advisory services to government agencies, NGOs, and private‑sector clients.
• Design and deliver AI training workshops, masterclasses, and executive briefings.
• Assess organisational readiness for AI adoption and develop transformation roadmaps.
• Create industry‑specific AI use‑cases and strategic recommendations.
• Support proposal writing, research, and business‑development initiatives.
• Mentor clients on responsible AI practices and ethical considerations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality consulting engagements.
• Represent Vision Africa AI at conferences, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional experience in consulting, AI, digital transformation, technology, or business strategy.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience delivering training or consulting assignments is highly desirable.
• Relevant AI certifications or proven AI implementation experience are advantageous.
