Biology Expert (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Biology Expert to support AI development workflows on a remote, contract basis. You will apply your deep scientific knowledge to evaluate and enhance biology‑related data, prompts, and content, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Critically assess biology‑focused datasets, prompts, and content used in AI training.
• Create, review, and refine scientific scenarios and explanations that reflect complex, real‑world biological problems.
• Provide expert feedback to improve the quality, coverage, and representativeness of biological subject matter in AI systems.
• Collaborate with platform teams to resolve ambiguities and document methodologies, findings, and rationales.
• Participate in iterative review cycles and knowledge‑sharing sessions with interdisciplinary experts.

Required profile

• PhD in biology or a closely related life‑science discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in core biological principles and ability to contextualize complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with scientific data analysis, critical evaluation of research, and synthesis of intricate subject matter.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality outputs within defined project frameworks.
• Prior involvement in interdisciplinary scientific or technology‑focused projects (AI exposure is a plus).
