Business Development Officer

About the role

Beyond Logistics Ltd is looking for a Business Development Officer to grow and protect margin‑positive 3PL revenue. You will manage assigned clients, pursue new opportunities that fit the company’s service model, and execute the commercial strategy at the client level.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned 3PL clients end‑to‑end, increasing throughput and adding standard services.
• Maintain predictable volume and billing accuracy for each client.
• Identify and qualify new clients that match the right‑fit criteria and improve warehouse utilisation.
• Prepare proposals using approved service playbooks, ensuring correct service definition, costing, pricing and operational feasibility.
• Apply approved pricing models, escalating any discount or scope exceptions.
• Monitor SLA performance, client satisfaction and log issues through the company’s issue management system.
• Escalate risks such as volume volatility or cost‑to‑serve increases early.

Required profile

• Entry‑level or 1‑3 years of experience in business development, sales or account management.
• Strong understanding of logistics or 3PL services.
• Ability to manage a pipeline of qualified prospects and meet utilisation objectives.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
