Business Development Representative – Commission Only

About the role

Digital Talisman Africa is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to work remotely on a full‑time, commission‑only basis. You will be responsible for uncovering new business opportunities and driving the sales pipeline for our B2B software and systems solutions across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and nurture new prospects through outbound and inbound channels.
• Engage prospects via calls, virtual meetings and digital communication to understand their operational challenges.
• Present tailored software, automation and inventory solutions that address client needs.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop proposals, support demos and advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM tools, track performance metrics and provide insights to improve go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Proven inside‑sales or business development experience, preferably with B2B technology solutions.
• Strong prospecting, qualification and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable negotiating with founders and business leaders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.

Required skills
