Business Development Representative

About the role

Digital Talisman Africa is seeking a full‑time, remote Business Development Representative on a commission‑only basis. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and building a strong pipeline of potential clients for the company’s B2B software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads through outbound and inbound channels and engage prospects via calls, meetings and digital communication.
• Understand client operational challenges and present tailored software and system solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop proposals, support demos and advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM tools, track performance metrics and provide insights to improve go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Strong inside‑sales and lead‑generation experience, with proven business‑development results.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, comfortable presenting to founders and business leaders.
• Familiarity with B2B software or technology solutions and a keen interest in operational efficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, remote environment and manage a self‑directed pipeline.

Required skills
