Business Development Representative (Remote)

About the role

Digital Talisman Africa is seeking a proactive Business Development Representative to generate new B2B software opportunities across Africa and beyond. This full‑time, remote position is commission‑only and focuses on identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospects for our custom operational solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels.
• Engage prospects via calls, virtual meetings, and digital communication to understand their operational challenges.
• Present tailored software and system solutions, support demos, and develop proposals in collaboration with sales and technical teams.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM, track performance metrics, and provide insights to refine go‑to‑market strategies.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of potential clients, moving opportunities through the sales cycle.

Required profile

• Strong inside‑sales and lead‑generation experience, including prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing leads.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Proven business development track record, especially in B2B technology or software solutions.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with founders and business leaders across diverse African industries.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to understand client workflows and propose practical solutions.
