Campus Estates Manager

About the role

The Estates Manager will oversee the operation and maintenance of the university’s premises, buildings, furniture, machinery, equipment, vehicles and other assets, ensuring they meet the institution’s standards and support its educational mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical specifications and performance standards for all university buildings, furniture, machinery, equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain all campus buildings, furniture and fixtures on a regular schedule to ensure functionality and safety.
• Oversee the maintenance of university utilities, guaranteeing reliable services across the campus.
• Ensure the university compound and all premises, including offices and classrooms, remain clean and well‑kept.
• Coordinate with the Campus Warden and Assistant Registrar on student‑related facilities matters as required.
• Provide professional fleet management, including maintenance and scheduling of university vehicles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• At least three years’ experience in estates management in a reputable institution.
