Card Deployment Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Card Deployment Consultant to drive the growth, profitability and optimization of card portfolios. The role will focus on card portfolio performance, customer acquisition, spend growth, digital adoption, product development and cross‑functional execution.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize card portfolio performance, including transaction approval rates, spend growth, utilization and pricing effectiveness
• Develop and execute customer acquisition, activation and spend stimulation campaigns
• Drive card usage, revenue growth and portfolio profitability
• Identify opportunities to improve customer value proposition and digital adoption
• Support development, enhancement and launch of card products
• Develop business cases for new card products and initiatives
• Work closely with Marketing, IT, Operations, Fraud and other stakeholders to resolve card‑related issues
• Track portfolio financial performance and provide actionable insights
• Identify market trends, risks and opportunities within the cards business
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives related to card products and portfolio growth

Required profile

• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in the card payments / cards business
• Strong experience in card product management or card portfolio management within retail banking
• Hands‑on experience with credit cards and/or debit cards
• Experience in card acquisition, activation, usage growth and customer campaigns
• Understanding of card portfolio performance, revenue and profitability
• Experience with card product launches or product enhancements
• Strong understanding of banking operations and the cards ecosystem
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams
• Knowledge of local banking regulations and market trends
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Excellent English communication skills
