About the role
The Cash Coordinator will lead the planning, coordination and technical guidance of Cash for Protection activities within the consortium, ensuring that cash assistance is safely delivered and integrated into the broader protection response.
Key responsibilities
- Lead planning and coordination of Cash for Protection activities across the consortium.
- Develop and maintain a Cash for Protection implementation plan and track progress against targets.
- Provide technical guidance on design and delivery of cash interventions, ensuring protection risks are identified and eligibility criteria are applied.
- Oversee safe and effective delivery of cash assistance, coordinating with finance and financial service providers.
- Verify beneficiaries, monitor payment processes, and resolve payment‑related challenges.
- Support mechanisms to minimise duplication and fraud and ensure clear communication to beneficiaries.
- Monitor access barriers for persons with disabilities, older persons and other vulnerable groups.
- Conduct post‑distribution monitoring and support contingency arrangements when payment mechanisms fail.
