About the role

The Heritage Elementary School is seeking a dedicated Chinese Immersion 2nd Grade Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year. This full‑time position will join a vibrant elementary community focused on bilingual education. The teacher will work onsite at Heritage Elementary, engaging students in both language and core academic subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Chinese immersion curriculum to a 2nd grade classroom on a full‑time basis.
• Plan and implement daily lesson sequences aligned with the school’s academic calendar for the 2026‑2027 year.
• Maintain classroom records, attendance, and student progress reports.
• Collaborate with fellow Heritage Elementary staff to support the school’s immersion goals.
• Assess student proficiency in Chinese and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences to discuss student progress.
• Support school‑wide immersion events and cultural activities.

Required profile

• Valid teaching license.
