Cleaning Assistant (Part Time)

About the role

The Hillcrest Academy is seeking a committed, hard‑working Cleaning Assistant on a part‑time basis. Working under the Site Manager, you will help maintain a safe, clean and well‑maintained environment for students, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the academy building.
• Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals, including potentially hazardous materials.
• Follow health and safety regulations and read safety instructions and chemical labels.
• Work constructively as part of a team to ensure the premises are kept in optimal condition.

Required profile

• Ability to safely handle and use cleaning chemicals.
• Strong teamwork attitude and willingness to follow supervision.
• Basic reading skills to understand safety instructions and labels.
• Committed, reliable and hard‑working.
