Commercial Manager – FOTON

About the role

Mobikey is seeking a dynamic Commercial Manager to lead the development and growth of the FOTON brand in Uganda. The role focuses on driving sales performance, expanding market presence and building strategic relationships across transportation, logistics, construction and commercial vehicle sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities across the Ugandan market.
• Build and manage relationships with corporate customers, fleet operators and key accounts.
• Develop sales opportunities within logistics, transportation, construction and distribution sectors.
• Lead commercial negotiations and close business deals.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve commercial targets.
• Monitor and participate in tenders, projects and large‑scale business opportunities.
• Coordinate with after‑sales, parts and workshop teams to ensure excellent customer support.
• Establish partnerships with financial institutions to facilitate customer financing solutions.
• Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis and customer insights to support business strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, truck or related industry.
• Proven knowledge of the Ugandan market and its commercial vehicle landscape.
• Strong business development, negotiation and deal‑closing skills.
• Ability to manage key accounts and large fleet customers.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a strong commercial focus.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Fluent in English.
