Communications & Social Media Officer

About the role

Price Media is seeking a Communications & Social Media Officer to plan, create and manage content for its digital channels. The role involves writing posts, emails and articles, coordinating with designers and video producers, and using performance data to continuously improve communication.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a content calendar covering services, programmes, events and thought leadership, translating offers into relevant topics.
• Write and edit engaging social media posts for Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, as well as email campaigns, newsletters and articles.
• Utilise AI tools for research, drafting and editing while ensuring factual accuracy and brand voice.
• Schedule and publish approved content, monitor comments and messages, and respond or route enquiries according to guidelines.
• Prepare briefs for graphics, photography and video, review creative work and coordinate approvals with the founder and creative team.
• Produce monthly performance reports, analyse audience response and recommend adjustments to the content plan.

Required profile

• Strong writing and editing ability demonstrated through work samples.
• Capability to understand services and explain their value in plain language.
• Experience publishing content and managing social media accounts.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Sound judgement when responding publicly and handling enquiries.
• Willingness to receive feedback and revise work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI writing tools.
• Experience with major social media platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
• Familiarity with content scheduling and publishing tools.
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms.
• Ability to interpret analytics data.
