Computer Vision Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Computer Vision Annotator to accurately label image and video data for machine‑learning projects. The role is fully remote and supports the creation of high‑quality datasets for object detection, segmentation, tracking and related tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑precision annotation using bounding boxes, polygons, polylines, key points, 3D cuboids and segmentation masks.
• Annotate point‑cloud and LiDAR data for spatial‑awareness applications.
• Follow detailed labeling taxonomies and project specifications, ensuring consistency across the team.
• Use annotation platforms such as CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer or Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Identify ambiguous cases, edge cases and potential biases, and communicate findings to project managers and data scientists.
• Provide feedback to improve annotation tools and workflow efficiency.
• Assist with basic data preparation tasks (resizing images, format conversion, timestamp alignment).
• Track and report key performance metrics such as throughput, precision and recall.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data annotation or quality assurance for computer‑vision or ML projects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in repetitive labeling tasks.
• Ability to interpret complex taxonomies and document workflows clearly in English.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven capability to work independently in a remote environment.
