Content Executive

About the role

Ripple Effect is seeking a creative Content Executive to produce audience‑focused stories and multimedia content that highlight the organisation’s impact across rural African communities. The role will support fundraising, donor engagement and strengthen the brand’s visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, gather and produce compelling programme stories, including interviews and content‑gathering trips.
• Create written, photographic and video content that showcases farming families and programme beneficiaries.
• Develop content for communications, fundraising and donor engagement materials.
• Manage and organise the growing content library, ensuring accuracy, authenticity and ethical production.
• Collaborate with programme teams, supporters and partners to amplify Ripple Effect’s influence.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in content creation, photography and videography.
• Strong storytelling and interviewing abilities with a passion for ethical, community‑focused communications.
• Willingness and ability to travel for content‑gathering assignments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in Canva.
